    EGR awards

    Congrats to this year's winners.
One thing I did notice is that they didn't have any live gaming categories like they did in 2009, which seems odd given it's a growing niche

Also be interested to get any thoughts from casino reps on how much importance operators place on these awards. Meaningful or meaningless?

    Hi LD,

I was also fairly dissapointed that both the live casino categories that were there in 2009 had dissapeared, especially considering how much the industry has grown since.

From our point of view, no one here eagerly awaits the results however I would place them in the meaningful category for a few reasons:

    1. As a company in a growing industry you have to aim to be innovative and at the forefront of development. However the awards are decided by industry experts therefore the winners are obviously doing something which takes them above the rest. After the results are drawn we will look at the reasons why they the winner has come on top of that category and what they have done better than the rest. This provides great scope for potential improvement.

    2. The affiliate program awards provide details of affiliates that if you didn't know about before, you certainly should be taking notice now! This goes for the entire short list as well as the winner.
