    Playtech Sicbo

The game of Sicbo has been available from Playtech for several years. Although for a long time many familiar European casino brands didn't carry the Asia studio table (or still don't).

In the face of new competition from rival platforms Playtech have updated the Turquoise Sicbo table including new backdrop and extra camera angles.

....it's not the only table to get a makeover from Playtech in recent months (more on which another time), but it is perhaps the best looking transformation .

$0,2/€0,2 is now its minimum limit. And i f...(very much) like this change. Not all the casinos have changed it yet, but just some of them. For example, William Hill still offer $1. They will have to give up sooner or later.

The biggest "Minus": still 10 rounds of inactivity = kicking out of the table. I don't need to place my bets that often.

Also, while updating various pages to reflect the updated table look, I realised there is no summary of Playetch's live sicbo game. Possibly because:
    • I'm not a big fan of the game and rarely play it; and/or
    • The rules are pretty self explanatory...
      - bet on position (payouts clearly shown),
      - 3 die are rolled, then
      - If outcome matches bet, collect payout

The table clearly sets out possible bets, and their corresponding payouts:

A quick explanation of these bets...

    • Small (1:1 payout): 3 die total of 4 to 10
    • Big (1:1 payout): total 11 to 17
(Note on Bib/Small - three of kind never wins on Big/Small, so 3 & 18 not included)
    • Double Bet (10:1 payout): result is a specific pair (3rd die irrelevant)
    • Triple Bet (180:1 payout): result is specific triple
    • Any Triple(30:1 payout): result is any triple
    • Total bet (6-60:1 payout): betting on 3-die sum
    • Pair Bet (6:1 payout): betting on listed 2 dice combinations coming up (3rd die irrelevant)
    • Number bet: how many times a specific number appears (1, 2, or 3)
      - if it appears once: 1:1 payout
      - if it appears twice: 2:1 payout
      - if it appears thrice: 3:1 payout

Another look and feel tweak for Playtech's Sicbo (and a name change to Speed Sicbo)...
