Betgames.tv is a provider starting to gain prominence among some of the bigger casino brands.
While their emergence would appear reasonably recent, they have actually been around for quite a while. The company was established in 2012 in Vilnius, Lithuania where their headquarters and main studio are still located.
They have essential accreditations, licensed to provide live games in a number of jurisdictions by the Malta Gaming Authority and UK Gambling Commission.
But a more telling vote of confidence in their product arguably comes from being adopted by some of the industries biggest brands. This adoption now seems to be accelerating with names like Betway, Leo Vegas, Betsson and the giant GVC group joining the list.
In an industry that has now matured and in which leaders and followers are well established, we have seen plenty of follow the leader in the last couple of years. This has lead to a degree of homogenisation. Same games with the same rules served up in a similar fashion, from UI to studio backdrop (even dealer attire in come cases). Pragmatic Play’s unashamed replication of Evolution games is a good example of this.
Betgames undoubtedly offer a refreshing point of difference in live games. This isn’t to say their games are better than the current benchmarks. But they certainly are very different. And for aiming to be different they are to be commended.

Rather their range includes a list of unique titles. Games like Rock Paper Scissors, based on the hand gesture game of the same name is an example of the quirkiness of their offering. Their Bet on Baccarat, Bet on Poker and War of Bets tables merge traditional casino game favourites with in-play (or during the deal) betting.
Game delivery is perhaps not as slick as what you might find with the leading providers. There is also less emphasis on dealer engagement (you can’t chat with the dealers). The games themselves lean more to the ‘game of chance’ rather than ‘game of skill’ side of the spectrum. Theoretical returns are inferior to the classic casino games like blackjack and baccarat. But low returns hasn’t stopped the runaway success of live dealer game shows.
For the big casino brands, Betgames unique games could be seen as a complimentary alternative to more ‘same same’ live baccarat and roulette tables.
As such we should expect more adoption in the future.
