Bodog Asia is one of a large number of live dealer operations based in Manila’s financial district of Makati City.
The company is part of the Bodog group of companies which first started taking bets online in 1994 and exited the US market in 2011, switching attentions to regulated markets in Europe and and Asia.
In 2013 Bodog Asia and the group’s Asian market facing casino brand Bodog88 were mired in controversy after certain senior executives were accused of, among other things, embezzling from the company.
Despite the media circus that ensued, there was no noticeable impact on the Bodog Asia product.
