Overview

A lot of online casinos will claim that they are unique. Paf is one of the few justified in making this claim.

Paf is a not for profit organization licensed and controlled by the Åland government (Åland Island is in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland). It was founded back in 1966 with the express purpose of raising funds for local Åland charities and today all profits from their various gaming operations are distributed to non-profit associations, organizations and good causes on the Åland Islands.

You can read more about Paf’s charitable endeavors here.

Now based in Stockholm, Paf employs around 350 staff, turned over more than €100 million in 2020 and has distributed over €200 million to local charities to date.

They were a bit of a Nordic online gambling pioneer, taking their first bets online in December 1999. In 2012 they added Evolution’s live casino product. They have since expanded their live games range to include tables from Playtech and Pragmatic Play.
