Here’s another development that is really kind of amazing. 2 developments really, involving the gambling habits of a 2 gamblers at a Bitcoin only gambling site called Just Dice…
A player going by the names of ‘nakowa’ / ‘allover’, who is up net BTC 10,000 ;
A player originally named ‘mechs’, then changed to ‘fuckit’ gambled increased balance from BTC 1,700 to over BTC 7,000 on a streak, then let it all ride (BTC 7,016) on a single LOSING bet! That’s a $900,000 roll of the dice.

VERY interesting little development related to this post.

On Wed 2 October (later the same day post was published!) the FBI shut down the Silk Road website and arrested its owner Ross William Ulbricht, 29, otherwise known as “Dread Pirate Roberts.

The effect on the price of a Bitoin…went from $142 down to $110 before recovering to where is currently sits at around $125

Doesn’t take a big event to move this currency a lot!
