When combined with the already open new Unibet & German tables it makes for a substantial expansion of the Malta operation in June/July.
OK we can rule out William Hill, 888, Genting, Pokerstars, Grosvenor, Bwin ...Quote:

Not really.
I would call one of those modest (in comparison to others at Evo)....its current dedicated area is so small they've had a private table on the generic floor also.
Well then I'm going for Bwin (or perhaps sister Party Casino who have a very modest presence in Riga)Quote:

Definitely not Genting or Grosvenor as they don't accept players outside UK so pointless having a large non-english speaking dealer team anyway.
William Hill & 888 not modest
That's the intriguing part, it will be Grosvenor tables in the Malta studio.
Of course some English private tables already exist there eg. Mr Green's roulette.
...with English speaking dealers. Wonder why Malta and not Riga then?Quote:

Well for what's it worth, my take on a possible motive for the switch from Riga to Malta...
Grosvenor is a UK facing casino & try to promote the idea of using UK dealers (not the only casino to do this) even if it's only just a bit true. Much the same as casinos are happy to let players think London Roulette tables use dealers from London, Playtech's Italian tables having native dealers (in reality a couple of months language lessons) and so on.
I wrote previously in a blog how Malta is probably more enticing to foreign dealers than the prospect of living in Latvia (climate, Mediterranean Sea etc.).
So maybe Grosvenor believes having their tables in the Malta studio is more likely to attract British dealers in the first instance and then it's easier to retain them, rather than the cold Latvian winters sending them packing;).
Many native Maltese dealers have very natural British sounding accents (more so than Russian/Latvian dealers). So they are also a 'good fit' for casinos wanting to portray the impression of having UK dealers.
Otherwise, Evolution have simply run out of space in the Riga studio for big new private areas despite acquiring the building in 2015 :D.
According to recent information the new Grosvenor Malta tables are penciled in for 7th July opening.
