Payout on a pair is 1:1 when dealer qualifies on a K&A or better (dealer Agita qualified with a lower pair).
So for any poker newbies ... total bet was £90 (£30 Ante + £60 Call) = pays £180

- One of the best features of the Caribbean poker table is not needing to CALL to collect on the sidebet.
I chose not to call on player's weak looking hand & simply collected the sidebet at 200:1 :)

FULL HOUSE this time on player's hand, followed by the oh so agonising wait wishing for the dealer to qualify.
Was my first round on the table & so decided to leave immediately after. I always say it's best to quit after such a lucky hand, rather than think this is an easy way to make money and then proceed to lose it all and more with subsequent rounds.
Evolution have added a progressive jackpot side bet to Caribbean Stud Poker.

The progressive jackpot is shared among all players who placed the side bet when ROYAL FLUSH is dealt to the player.
There are also some fixed payouts for the side bet...

2500 for Straight Flush, 250 for Four of Kind, 50 for Full House,
25 for Flush, 10 for Straight & 3 for Three of Kind

It's especially amusing where it says you can CALL or FOLD and still win a share of the Jackpot :D .... I don't think many players would want to FOLD on a Royal Flush (but good to know just incase you miss calling).

Reading the rules it is very clear that the progressive jackpot will be shared by all players placing the jackpot bet.
This is not so clear when it comes to the fixed payout prizes.
I can't imagine a £/$/€ 3 payout being shared among 100 players .... it's just the rules don't state these prizes are not shared
What do we think...shared/not shared ?
For sure the smaller payouts are not shared, they are to be treated as just another 'regular' side bet.
The Caribbean Jackpot side bet is now available at Betsson group casinos (Betsson, Betsafe, NordicBet etc).
