Evolution Gaming have launched their newest concept table called Blackjack Party
Attachment 2963
'Party' being the key word as to the atmosphere they are trying to conjure at the table.
Games rules etc. are the same, but it comes with....
- 2 dealers (or presenters) at the table,
- music playing in the background,
- and lively banter :)
The new table is available at William Hill.

The Blackjack Party table is open 24/7.
Has 1 dealer & 1 'presenter' ... the ladies were 'famous' Evolution faces - coming from Immersive roulette.
Table limits are lower with bets from £/€ 0.5
Lucky Egils is getting to duet with all the ladies ... last night Karina, tonight Jekaterina.Quote:

I got that one for you LD ;)
Interesting concept. I can see the attraction for players new(ish) to blackjack as a nice learning/entry point. Not so for more seasoned players.
I would have preferred a 'one to many' format table, more akin to Playtech's Unlimited Blackjack at Evolution. I suggested it when I was at their London office.
It would be more involving for players than simply Bet Behind .... I'm assuming they want lots of players at the table for the party spirit.
Then the co-host/presenter/sidekick could field the inevitable questions why a seat was receiving more cards when the player had selected to stand etc. ... which is a frequent question by new players at such tables.
But, yes it's a bit of fun, and new players will enjoy betting behind more on this table, than behind more serious players at high limit tables.Quote:

whispers suggest table will be rolled out 16th December to more casinos
I am new on the forum. Just have seen one of these games. For sure it's really interesting concept of game managing, but as i know, they've started with 2 girls on 1 table. And I think it would be much better than it is now. That confusing moment when you'r barely touching each other and it looks like your a couple. It makes discomfort for both of the dealers. As for the players, I think most of the players are men, so they would prefer 2 cute girls instead of 1. Otherwise, there's no need for a second person on the table if there's no chat between them. And as we all know, girls will always find something to talk about :)
Hi s1dor, welcome.
To be honest, my overall impression about the table is that at times as a player I feel almost like a third wheel at table. The male & female dealers can become a bit too much touchy & into each others chat. I realise they have to keep the party atmosphere going and when players aren't always talking it must be an easy thing to slip into.
I know if one of my 'special' favourite dealers was working there I wouldn't like the feeling of seeing such antics.
I've seen players hurling abuse at the male dealers, obviously jealous that they were with their favourite dealer.
As I understood it, dealers were told they're supposed to concentrate on players, but that guidance seems to fail. Sometimes dealers are collecting cards and not even commentating on result as they are so engaged in banter with the presenter/co-host.
- I've always thought general cross table chat/joking between dealers at Evolution, or to supervisors/CSR's at Playtech was very unprofessional and rude towards players.
I believe there's to different opinions about this way of gaming. One is players and the other is dealers. So people who are managing this project need to understand both of them. As for the players, I think there's 2 types of them. First comes to make profit (if lucky). Second, is playing online casino mostly because of the chat. If your loving chat, you need energetic lads. Doesn't really matters a boy or a girl. But as i said before, statistics shows that on online gambling there`s 82% of men and 18% of women. We need to understand that as well.
My own opinion about 'couple players' is slightly ambiguous. There's a good example of how 2 girls playing the lottery thing. That's how I see it.

- Well if you are a player at the casino to simply make a profit then the Blackjack Party table is NOT for you.
Those players would be better served playing at the VIP tables etc.
I quite often see players sitting at the lowest limit tables placing bets of £/€30+ each hand complaining about players who bet the minimum and are chatting to the dealer. Basically they are showing off that they are betting more than other players, and then they think it gives them the right to dictate what happens at the table.

- That was always along my lines of thinking, but given the high percentage of male dealers now at the studios it doesn't seem to be a major consideration by the studio bosses anymore.
Having male dealers at all 6 exclusive tables in a dedicated area seems very strange ... but it happens now!
It doesn't appear the people managing the project (or bosses in general at studios) consider, or care so much about dealers feelings etc.Quote:

Otherwise they wouldn't expect dealers to work the table all shift (currently several days in a row for the newly opened table). It must be a mental strain keeping up the performance.
And what is it with expecting dealers to do a quick dress change and go straight to Immersive roulette? Then change dress again before back to Party etc.... The dealers look gorgeous in the dresses they wear for the Party table, and ought to wear them at the roulette table also.
Talking of Immersive Roulette .... having to sit on the stool with no back rest all shift must be back breaking.
I'm assuming by the lottery thing you mean as hosted by Lilita, Elina, Natalija (see here).
I think it would be better if they mixed up the format on the table ... sometimes both female, or even just 1 dealer.
As soon as I saw the table I thought it was perfect for Lilita. She has enough energy to create a party atmosphere all on her own, given music and a few props (hats etc.).
But, It wouldn't be fair to ask any dealer to work the table all day alone ... so perhaps if they just did half the shift on the table.
That's what I meant. In some pairs, one of the dealers can do all the job instead of two people. And the other will just sit because he's/she's pretty.
I understand that the company has its own goals and rules to achieve them. But as you said before, these new tables are mostly for the "Party". I think the main criterion when company is choosing girls for these table is appearance. So if you come there and see gougers girl in a beautiful dress, probably you expect a nice chat with her as well. Not only a huge cut-out dress and a sparkling smile. However, as seen on most of the tables, there's just a girl without any enthusiasm. In most cases English isn't so good, and you can hardly hear their voices. Also, as I know (as well as most of the players), English is not their native language. Besides the fact that they need to speak a foreign language with each other, they have to entertain people and do not forget about sitting next to him another dealer. Especially in pairs of boy and girl, where girl attract more attention, which greatly complicates the work of both.
so something like this ...

ps. for some reason they've stopped wearing the Christmas hats

I am reliably informed by several sources that players from other casinos will be able to see each other's chat ... which will probably lead to more player squabbles ;)
The Party table is now available at most Evolution casinos eg. 888 live casino, Mr Green, Unibet, BetVictor, Betsson.....
And indeed ALL casinos chat is visible to players.
Attachment 2991 ... from the table icon in the lobby it appears up to 500 players are possible.
Hmm..She dont think that its also not professional to discuss her colleagues? :)
Hmmm.... the William Hill dealer was only saying what every player sees at the table and many comment on.
eg. typical player chat in previous table pic...

So all the touching is a thorny issue among the (Party/Immersive) dealers also then :p
Evolution have got round to announcing the Party table in a press release.
Richard Hadida, Evolution’s Chief Innovation Officer said...
Quote:
Blackjack Party differs in that it is a low-stakes, mass-market game with a party atmosphere, music and bubbly chat from a TV-presentation-trained duo of dealer and presenter.

A dealer once told me "it was ALL about the money".
That she had "no problem" telling all the studio lies (about not being married, getting their tips, etc.) and was willing to do whatever they asked except getting undressed for the players.
So I would say the Party dealers (& partners) will just have to accept the money and put on a good performance.
There's more reading about naked dealers and thoughts regarding the Blackjack Party table in November's & December's 2014 blogs.
The Party table is the first of Evolution's blackjack tables to switch to the new high definition UI.

It's no secret I don't like the Blackjack Party table ..... so I can't say from when exactly, not a table I visit daily!
The Blackjack Party table is now playable on mobile (iPad) devices.
Currently available at William Hill, Genting & Leo Vegas.
Given that the table is usually full of seated players and the (current) lack of the Bet Behind feature on mobile you may well ask what's the point of having the table on mobile....well it seems Bet Behind is set for rollout on mobile at Evolution casinos.
Evolution have changed the backdrop and table surface for Blackjack Party,

I still much prefer the Leo Vegas private Party table though with less male dealer & female presenter pairings/flirting/whatever.
Thought I was seeing double at the generic Party table,
Attachment 5123
2 female dealers/game presenters call them what you like at the table.
That's what some of us wanted to see instead of all the male/female touchy flirting antics etc.
Just a shame they were wearing the same studio green dress....better before when they wore their own clothing.
