The unusual thing is, that they obviously left Evolution... It's not a double-studio served site, as I and some others (read -LD) provided to gonna be... I am a bit curious about the reasons, and at the same time --> flattered?! I guess. It means that in their opinion Playtech is a better choice?! It's not like disagreeing, just they are bigger etc...
Yes correct, no more Evolution.Quote:

So there will be a lot of confused Paddy Power players wondering where there favourite dealers have gone
In my opinion Playtech is a much better looking choice also, ... but don't tell Playtech I said that ! ;)

Poor LD, will have some busy hours of re-doing, re-adding things in this section - PP Live Dealer review...
The new Paddy area looks great and the video quality is better also :)

Poor me indeed...change is good but time consuming.
I had a play in the new casino and was impressed. Fester you're right...video quality looks like it's gone up a notch.
Support confirmed Evolution Gaming live dealers are discontinued

And yes, Paddy Power review has been updated
I am so proud of the way it looks like! Our guys have done an exellent work! :o
By the way, at the Casino site they have added a new picture where another 2 add-able BJ tables on that floor are visible.
And another thing - dresses... Another new change, to which is it worth waiting for... ;)

It really does look excellent !!!! Nicer than the bet365 area :)

ps. That 5 table picture at the casino site is not what you actually see - the pillar is missing ;)
Dresses ?? - so not like these then ? :DQuote:

"unfortunately we have changed to Playtech" :D whaaaaat? :D
Blog post on Paddy's new live casino...https://www.livedealer.org/blog/2013...h-live-casino/
Also added PPower to the 'Best looking private room poll'...https://www.livedealer.org/forums/sh...g-private-room
Bit of a mouthful the dealers are obviously required to say everytime a player joins the table.

Welcome to the brand new Paddy Power live casino... If you have any questions you are welcome to ask me .....
Wonder how long it will be before they can stop saying "new"
2 weeks :oQuote:

Paddy Power's live casino has had a facelift...
Attachment 3037
And it seems they are rather proud of the transformation ...

New Year
New Look
Notice anything different about us?
No? Come on, rub your eyes and try one more time. Now you’ve got it! We’ve had a facelift. Paddy Power Live Casino is now an even more beautiful experience than ever before. We have new dealers, photography and promotions to entertain and delight throughout 2015.
It is just a facelift though, featuring different dealers.
The previous design featured Italian dealers Kimberly, Sonia, Sara & Esmira that only ever worked the Paddy tables a couple of weeks when the area first opened at Playtech. After which they went back to the Italian tables, never to be seen again on Paddy's tables.
The 'New Look' doesn't go very deep though ... the lobby loading screen still features the old Italian dealers :D
Attachment 3038... Kimberly, Sonia, Sara & Esmira
The lobby loading screen is like one of those 'Where Are They Now?' pics.
After they went back to the Italian tables:
1 got married,
2 left on maternity leave,
1 transferred to another position off the dealer floor &
1 went travelling around Italy etc.
Paddy Power live casino need something a bit more than a facelift to get players at the dedicated tables.
Recently, only 1 (of the 4) dedicated area blackjack tables has been open in afternoons ... I assume through lack of demand.
All 4 tables are open in the evening, but they're not exactly busy.Quote:

Attachment 3039... table activity is visible in the clickable lobby & table selection boxes
When I visited on Saturday ~9pm GMT only 1 seat (of 28) was occupied in the dedicated area.
It was a similar story at bet365's tables with a couple of players.
Meanwhile over at Evolution Gaming the blackjack tables in the dedicated areas were a lot busier:
All bwin's 6 tables were full,
William Hill had 8 full tables,
at 888 casino 38 seats were occupied,
even Grosvenor Casinos' 3 tables were half full,
etc.
It makes you wonder if Paddy Power's former live casino boss Tom Murgatroyd jumped ship, or was pushed when he went to Sky, having overseen such a large financial deal and subsequent half empty area with Playtech.
And, knowing how the Playtech studio likes to 'put on a good show' for visiting casino executives ... do they put dealers on every table at such times, to give a false impression of how popular/busy the dedicated tables are to potential new clients? :D
Paddy Power's second roulette table at Playtech is now available

... Private Club roulette table
The video stream image definition is great  (slight loss in quality reducing file size to forum picture limit)
Paddy Power's private area is looking a little less Paddy green now.
One of the blackjack tables has been redesignated as VIP complete with a new grey table surface (à la Bet365) and higher minimum bet.

This must be a record in Livedealer.org history.....3 new private casino areas opened in the same week.
Paddy Power (like Betfair - part of the same group) have opened their new private tables at Playtech.
The new roulette is multi-camera naturally,
uses the new game interface,
& comes with a video screen on the wall highlighting 'what's going on at other tables' (as Betfair first introduced to their old private area at Playtech).

Plus a new dealer uniform across all the private tables.
4 new replacement blackjack tables (including 1 VIP),

Unusual week indeed. 3 new private areas opened, and William Hill aren't running a weekend tourney/promo, which I suspect is the first time this has happened since their Mayfair/Macau/Vegas rooms have been up and running.Quote:

Paddy's new private tables look good. I liked their old tables also
Will Hill have been running a daily leaderboard promo all this week, different areas and games each day. So far I've managed to bag a £50 bonus each day and with a wagering requirement of only x10 it's a lot better than most casinos (take note 365 et al).
I'm less happy with the new Paddy tables. Feels like something out of the Unibet design book from a few years back (not in a good way).
Just received an invitation from Paddy's to try their new tables. Not a bad tag line...

Like a casino, but you don't need pants
Yet another private area redesign for Paddy Power. Actually, it's a shared (Paddy Power and Betfair) private area.
If they turn the lights up a bit it could look great!
Look aside, its a significant expansion ...
- 2 private roulette tables
- 10 private blackjack tables, including 2 VIP limit

Couldn't come soon enough as far as I was concerned.Quote:
I really disliked the replacement Paddy branded tables that opened back in June. These shared tables look so much better.
I wouldn't bet against the Paddy & Betfair branded tables being retained (in the short term at the very least) for themed promotions, private bookings, events etc.
Proving that if you wait long enough you do really see how things come full circle (ie. the origins of this thread) ....
As first reported back in October last year Flutter brands Paddy Power & Betfair having partnered with Evolution,
live games from Evolution now in the casino landing pages alongside Playtech games:
Attachment 6842 Attachment 6843
NB. the full spectrum of Evolution tables aren't currently accessible though eg. poker is limited to Side Bet City, less baccarat tables etc.
Joins the growing number of long time Evo casinos now adding Playtech (Bwin, PartyCasino, Leo Vegas, 888...)Quote:

It's starting to become impossible to differentiate live casinos based on which provider they carry!
