Entertasia: Associate Certificate from Alderney Gambling Control
14 December 2009, Staff writer
Macau based live gambling platform developer Entertasia have just announced that
they have been awarded an Associate Certificate from the
Alderney Gambling
Control Commission ("AGCC").
The AGCC have given Entertasia prior approval for the
Associate Certificate which is a category 2 license under Section 7 of the
Alderney eGambling Ordinance, 2006. What this all means is that
Entertasia's software has satisfied the AGCC's due diligence process and they
are now certified as a fit and proper supplier of said software to operators who
are either prospective or current AGCC gaming license holders.
Gaming software developers who hold Associated Certificates,
or equivalent standardized gambling software certifications from other respected
licensing authorities automatically become more attractive suppliers to the
major online gambling operators. Entertasia are no doubt looking to sign a few
of these majors in coming months.
Company CEO Jason Chan said of the achievement, "...we shall
continue to develop of our company, we believe that the range of gaming products
and platforms are critical to success, but more importantly, we aim have to
maintain our service standards to world-class standard."
It's been a big couple of weeks for Entertasia. At last
weeks EGR awards, one of their software licensees, VC Bet Asia, was named Asian
Live Gaming Operator of the Year.
