Curious that they have maintained the older playing interface for these new tables (as they did for Grand/Royale blackjack).Quote:

Not complaining as I probably prefer it to the new UI seen on all the private tables. Just would have thought as they moved to the new studio they'd roll out the new playing interface with a view to eventually having consistency across all tables.
No fancy name (not even Lounge) for the new Mini Baccarat table which has replaced Neptune and Cupid from the old studio,

Yeah my initial thoughts also, then lots more....not all so welcome.
The background noise from neighbouring tables is so loud/distracting at some of the new tables, and compared with some of the recent tables areas opened at another studio not so far away they don't blow your socks off visually.
The newer roulette interface is employed on Roulette Lounge with a basic setup of 2 camera angles,
Attachment 5186 Attachment 5187
(Aphrodite and Vesta tables closed)
The new Unlimited Blackjack table (again no name),
Attachment 5188
Already a degree of flux with the new tables.....the new Blackjack Lounge 1,
Attachment 5191
All the time to prepare the LOUNGE tables in advance of switching off the old tables, so why does it feel cobbled together last minute with the old interface, background noise issues, lacklustre white backdrop etc.
.... and the OLD new Blackjack Lounge 1 table is now Baccarat Lounge (anybody confused yet? :p),
Attachment 5205
so basically replicating the closed 1-8 numbered 7 seat Cupid table.
A little. But not by what's been replaced with what.Quote:
anybody confused yet?
Just wondering why the need to swap tables, rather than simply keep the 'old' and add more as desired, when they have the world's largest live dealer studio?
Having the world's largest live dealer studio (8,500m of floor space "vienalga Playtech!") isn't the same as having anywhere near the current most number of live tables, let alone actual physical tables in the building....but I know nothing as always ;).
[Tongue-in-cheek mode ON]
Perhaps they've got the less proficient B team of designers, installers, technicians etc. working on opening these new entry level/minimal service to casinos, one table at a time :D.
Not that the LOUNGE appearance, background noise, state of progress, etc. is in any way on purpose to encourage licensee casinos to pay more for a better looking live dealer offering including higher ranking/status dealers & choice of tables (Asian, Grand Royale, swanky private area). Or is it, time for a reboot of the conspiracy files? (cue title music and credits):p
Looks like the B team managed to hook-up all the correct wires to get the new Casino Hold'em table working this week,
Attachment 5221
(the old studio, Odysseus table is now closed)
The vast majority of the old studio tables (blackjack, Hi-Lo etc.) are now closed with new replacement LOUNGE tables now live.
Which leaves (for now) just the last few odd tables such as the German roulette table (in the old Winner private room).
The new 3 Card Brag & Hi-Lo tables,
Attachment 5224 Attachment 5225
The new Speed Roulette (wheel sans table) is now located centre stage with the other common tables, rather than separate as before.
Attachment 5226
It's a multi-camera setup with the newest blackjack tables in clear view.
Attachment 5227 Attachment 5228
The newest blackjack tables to open, & relabeling again (D'oh!) of tables already open,
Lounge blackjack 1,2 & 3

Lounge blackjack 4,5 & 6

...can you recognise the old school dealer from circa 2012 back in action while the big move gets completed?
Managed to capture the more elusive female of the species dealing on a couple of the tables I posted above (if they are of any use to you LD).
Casino Hold'em, bj1 & bj6;
Attachment 5237 Attachment 5238 Attachment 5239
The new VIP blackjack table doesn't feel or look so special situated among the other Lounge tables. Although it's anybody's guess how many times it will move around in the coming days and months!:p
Attachment 5240
The only significant difference (other than limits) from the other tables is the use of the new Mickey Mouse interface.
So is that the answer to your earlier perplexion LD?
ie. you have to be a VIP player to use and prefer/appreciate(maybe not) the new UI.
& now the new German/Deutsch roulette table,Quote:
...Which leaves (for now) just the last few odd tables such as the German roulette table (in the old Winner private room).
Attachment 5266
Personally I think it looks rather bland, but it matches the other Lounge tables. The old language roulette table from within the reused Winner private room looked much classier.
The new Russian roulette table complete with flag (perhaps a flag is all that's needed at the German table?:p).
Attachment 5293
& one last look at the old Russian/ Italian table for comparision (I'm missing Anna's bears already ;)).
Attachment 5294
Oh dear, oh dear oh dear....
A long time ago talk was of Playtech toying with the idea of introducing a Party style blackjack table as they evolved into Evolution Gaming. Naturally anybody at Playtech who mentioned Party blackjack to me at the time got to hear my opinions on the table format and its shortcomings.
.... and now we have Playtech's answer to Party blackjack - have a disco.
Attachment 5478
2 disco tables - Discolette (roulette) & DiscoJack (unlimited bj).
yep you name it they've got it - music playing, cross table chat, wigs, medallions,......
Attachment 5481
Attachment 5482
Now available at most Playtech casinos (bet365 being a notable exception).
And acting as some form of counterbalance to the disco tables, a new Soirée Blackjack table.
Attachment 5483
With extra table options such as change dealer (a topic I raised in Feb's blog) or keep, shoe change/shuffle on demand. Kind of like Playtech's answer to the Salon Privé tables at Evolution, except you have to share the table with other players.
Attachment 5484
Also available at most Playtech casino (including bet365).
:D clearly not expecting serious players on these tablesQuote:
music playing, cross table chat, wigs, medallions
Which bit gave you that impression LD, or was it the whole shebang ;)Quote:
clearly not expecting serious players on these tables
ps. notice the glasses as an integral part of the disco costume and not just for visually impaired dealers?
....... yes those same items that used to be prohibited at Playtech because of the reflection or was it dealer appearance/desirability (take your pick).
Quote:
Even more so now that Playtech have opened another 2 Soirée tables,
Attachment 5543
new tables Elite 200 & Elite 500 have increased table mins of 200 & 500 respectively.
Attachment 5541 Attachment 5542
The Soirée tables currently don't seem so popular as high limit tables at Evolution,
... looking sorry (get it ;)) for themselves today - no players and new lower table mins of 100 (& 200).
Attachment 5586
Another version of Privé tables from Playtech,
Privéé Blackjack 1 & 2
Attachment 5796 Attachment 5797
again shared with other players (& b/n some casinos)
They look good enough but don't feel very private at all with the "unbelievable" amount of background noise coming from other tables
Actually it's not unbelievable at all thinking back to just how noisy the VIP/Gala table was at Playtech. A new studio and they still place supposedly select/special/exclusive/whatever tables next to each other with no apparent thought baffles me frankly!
Available at Ladbrokes, Gala & Coral.
ps. and yes the more observant will have noticed the different playing/seating interface design - the screen caps of Privéé tables where taken at different casinos.
Those new for 2017 Mickey Mouse seat positions at the bottom of the screen, later moved around the table (1st pic) & now some casinos have the latest Playtech design sans Mickey (2nd pic)
.....was it some thing we said Playtech? :p
& another Privéé table, blackjack 3.
Attachment 5814
New from Playtech another Soirée table.
This time though it's roulette that gets the "exclusive VIP service" treatment,
Attachment 5998
........ next time baccarat then, or more blackjack
Playtech delivered Soirée Baccarat nextQuote:
next time baccarat then, or more blackjack
& now back to Soirée Blackjack, but in another tongue (identify the flag) this time around.
Attachment 6321 Attachment 6322
Answer.....Yes, the Japanese flag.Quote:
but in another tongue (identify the flag)
The first Japanese language table ?Quote:
Yes, the Japanese flag
a couple more Privée blackjack added at Playtech
Attachment 6480 ... 7 Privée tables.
Detecting something of a latest trend from Playtech .... namely to populate the space around new language tables with other general access English language tables (well it gives the dealers something else also)
In the same area as the new Turkish Roulette, we have,
VIP Baccarat
Attachment 6780
with a table minimum starting as low as £1 at some casinos hardly high roller territory. VIP status backdrop it is then?
in front of Hindi Roulette,
the new look Unlimited Blackjack table,
Attachment 6782
(available at Bet365, BetFred & William Hill)
'VIP' is right up their with 'Exclusive' as one of the most misused terms in the online casino industryQuote:
VIP status backdrop it is then
I see it didn't make the casino marketing glossary of terms post. That was definitely an oversight!
