At the end of 2009 Microgaming upgraded their live games platform.  While the rules/payouts etc for their live roulette game remain unchanged, the look of the game changed quite a bit.

Was it a change for the better?  In terms of look and feel you can make you own judgement - for what it's worth I preferred the older version.  In terms of features, the new game is a definite improvement.  It includes Microgaming's powerful multiple-live-game-play functionality that lets you play a number of their live tables/games all at the same time.  It also includes some nice new video features that allow you to detach and enlarge the video stream for better viewing.

Another big plus, although I guess this is more of a platform consideration that a game specific one - is browser play.  No longer are you forced to download the full casino software suite to play live roulette at a Microgaming casino.

The interface, although bland, is very intuitive and offers access to comprehensive bet history (Playcheck) and help features.

No free play

Live roulette is not available in free-play mode. You may watch the game without a funded account but can only play with real money.

Dealer chat is not offered.
