Playtech live dealers closed to Canadians and Australians

Turns out that annoying black screen problem I was having was more than a technical glitch.

Had confirmation today that Playtech live dealers are no longer available to players in Canada and Australia. This is a Playtech policy that applies casino wide. It is live dealer specific...other Playtech games may be played by Australians and Canadians.

ALL Playtech Casino Brands. Because of certain regulations they had to stop LIVE casino in AU and Canada

Yep, really enjoyed playing the Playtech tables, and will miss their games and dealers.

Hopefully the policy changes some time soon so I don't have to move (or work out a viable proxy solution )

In the meantime, the one upside is that I no longer have to try explaining to casino support that yes, I have cleared my cache, I have the latest versions of Java and Flash and that my problem is something else altogether.

Seriously...these decisions really need to be passed down to the guys who are customer facing. OR, rather than a black screen (browser) or missing live dealers link (download games), have a message to say something like...

Sorry, live dealers are presently not available to players from your country
    that would have helped!

Well I think a proxy solution may be your only bet ....
Italian players seem to have no problem coming onto English tables even though they are supposed to be kept apart.

And, I guess you know my feelings about technical issues and Playtech casino customer supports. Only thing they seem to do is cause more frustration!

The number of times I have been told to clear cache, use latest drivers, try another browser, send screen caps of problem to them/Playtech blah blah blah ..... only to eventually discover after numerous exchanges that the casino or Playtech had implemented an account change of access to tables etc.
