Yes, there’s an element of subjectivity to these awards. Yes, there’s no doubt some politics involved in the decisions made. Are winners irrefutably best in their category?  This would be very hard to argue (for casino/operator categories particularly).

But it’s also fair to say that winners are far from the worst in their category. Probably fairer to say they are among the best.
