Evolution Gaming launched in 2006 as a pure play live games provider. Since then they have established themselves by most measures as the industry benchmark. An October 2020 rebrand saw them drop the ‘Gaming’ to become simply Evolution.
A look at the numbers behind their operation reveal its impressive scale. In their 2021 year end results, they reported reaching the milestone of having over 1,000 live tables in operation across all of their studios. By the end of 2024 this number had grown to over 1,700 active live dealer tables including more than 600 dedicated client tables.
For the year ended December 2024 Evolution generated group revenue of just over €2 billion, the majority of this (€1.77 billion) from the provision of live games. Their games are licensed by over 800 online casino operators.
They employ more than 3,000 dealers/presenters to run these tables with a wide range of language capabilities allowing for localised dealer chat. Dealers chat in English on the vast majority of tables but native language dealer tables in over 15 different languages operate around the clock.
The company now employs more than 21,000 personnel working from over 40 locations worldwide.
By the end of 2024 Evolution operated 20 purpose built dealer studios but this number is constantly growing. They continue to expand their presence in the maturing EU market, with regular studio launches there. North America and LatAm have become a focus now also.
Studio launches in Brazil and the Philippines are planned for 2025.
Evolution’s landmark entry into the regulated US iGaming market came in August 2018 when they launched the first purpose built live dealer studio based, licensed and regulated in the United States. Located in Atlantic City New Jersey, the studio initially served games to NJ licensed online casinos with plans to expand access to European licensee casinos and their customers in the future. A second NJ studio has since been launched, as well as studios in Pennsylvania (2021), Michigan (2021) and Connecticut (2022). Also in North America, Evolution’s Vancouver studio has been operating since 2018.

Irrespective of source, the product is delivered via a fast loading and very intuitive play interface and their streaming technology provides uninterrupted, high definition video that is reasonably tolerant to sub-optimal connection speeds. The entire game range is playable on PC and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
They were named EGR B2B Live Casino Supplier of the Year for 12 consecutive years from the category’s introduction in 2010. They have won numerous other regional iGaming supplier awards.
