Monopoly Roulette Live from Evolution

MONOPOLY Roulette adds to Evolution’s growing family of MONOPOLY themed game shows, created in partnership with Hasbro. It joins MONOPOLY Live and MONOPOLY Big Baller.

The game combines live roulette with MONOPOLY themed bonus games giving players the opportunity to win payouts of up to 5,000× on Straight-Up bets.

MONOPOLY Roulette went live at the start of June 2026, and can now be played at most casinos carrying Evolution’s live games, including favourites 888, Dublinbet and Stake.

How to Play MONOPOLY Roulette

The foundation of the main game is roulette. Outcomes are driven by a European Roulette wheel with an automatic, air-launched ball. During betting time all the usual roulette bets are available to you, via Evolutions familiar roulette game bet interface.

Bet inside or outside on the roulette table, or take neighbours bets using the racetrack provided. But you can only take part in the bonus games from a winning Straight-up bet.

Payouts for bets other than Straight-up, are as per a regular European Roulette table. Payouts for Straight-up bets are reduced to 19:1, unless that number has been marked with a MONOPOLY or Community ChestBonus symbol – then a win carries through to the bonus game.

MONOPOLY & Community Chest Bonus symbols

After bets close the dealer pulls a lever on a single reel slot to determine how many MONOPOLY Bonus symbols (from 3 to 7) there will be for the round. These are then randomly dropped onto numbers on the table (in orange below). Each of the symbols will also indicate number of dice rolls (5 to 9) available during the MONOPOLY Bonus game.

Straight-Up wins on any of these positions sees the bet carry through to the MONOPOLY Bonus game.

Also a after bets close, Mr. MONOPOLY randomly assigns up to five Community Chest symbols to table numbers. Winning bets on these numbers win through to the Community Chest bonus game.

Bonus Chaser and Community Chest Chaser

You can boost your chances of winning through to the bonus games for a price. The Bonus Chaser and Chest Chaser bets will guarantee entry to the bonus rounds if they are activated.

Take the Bonus Chaser bet and your chosen chip value will be placed on all numbers with a MONOPOLY Bonus symbol but the bet will cost you 14.5× your chip amount.

Take the Chest Chaser bet and your chosen chip value will be placed on all numbers that get assigned a Community Chest symbol but the bet will cost you 7.3× your chip amount.

These bets are accessed via a slide-out button left of your screen.

The Bonus Games

If the spin results in a number covered by a bonus game symbol and you have a Straight-up bet on that number then your bet carries to the bonus game where your final bet multiplier is decided.

The Monopoly Bonus Game

Any players of Evolution’s other MONOPOLY titled games would be familiar with this one. You’re lead by Mr MONOPOLY to the iconic Monopoly board, where multiplier values are added to all the properties.

Dice are rolled (5 to 9 times, as designated during bonus number selection) and each time a property is landed on multipliers are collected and added to the total. The dice are physical, not virtual.

Top possible final multiplier is 5,000×.

The Community Chest bonus game

This one’s much simpler (and shorter). Three cards appear on the screen, each with a multiplier value ranging from 20x to 300x. The cards are turned over and shuffled and you make a blind choice to win the payout of your chosen card.

The bets that give you a shot at the bonus games offer the worst returns. The bets that don’t have an RTP the same as European Roulette.

It’s worth noting, there is a payout cap of €500,000. Straight Up and Bonus Chaser bets over €10 can trigger this cap, and reduce the RTP on these bets further (Straight Up 96.46%, Bonus Chaser 93.63%).

MONOPOLY Roulette playing strategy

It’s always a shame when the optimal playing strategy of a roulette based game show is to avoid the bets that distinguish the game from regular roulette. If you’re trying to maximise your returns on this game, you’d avoid the Straight up bets, but then you’re just playing roulette and having to wait 3 or 4 minutes every time the MONOPOLY bonus game is activated (it’s not quick).

The presentation of this game is immaculate, as you expect from Evolution. And when you win through to the bonus game, racking up those multipliers is satisfying.

If only they could lift the RTP on Straight-up bets to close to (or even above) 97.30%, it would make having a crack at the bonus games more palatable.
