World Cup 2026: Cue the WC themed live tables

World Cup 2026 is well underway.

This addition seems more like a season than a tournament. 48 teams, almost a month in duration spread across three countries. There were even three opening ceremonies.

FIFA must be raising more cash than SpaceX on this one.

Speaking of opportunity knocking, the online casino world doesn’t often let a cross promotion opportunity slip. So it is with this year’s World Cup. Providers have jumped on the world game bandwagon with a number of football/world cup themed live games to keep players entertained between matches.

For Evolution, a simple, reskinned Roulette table named World Cup Roulette has been added to their live lobby.

No special offers, multipliers or bonus games. Just a regular old game of European Roulette appearing to be set in a football stadium super box.

Meanwhile Pragmatic Play have launched another version of their Football Blitz table for LatAm markets. Football Blitz Latina has the same format as the original – card to home, card to away, high card wins but with the calling the action in Spanish.

Playtech have been a little more adventurous with their effort, Football Roulette. Like Evolution’s World Cup Roulette, this table has a football pitch backdrop. But it also has a new bet that players can take – the Goal Bet.

All the regular European Roulette bets and payouts are available. But you can also place your chip on the Goal bet spot just left of the zero. After bets close, random ‘goal numbers’ are allocated to the table (see white jersey symbols above) and a multiplier is assigned to the bet (3× up to 100×…guess which comes up most).

If the spin results in any of the goal numbers the bet pays according to the pre-determined multipler amount.
