Infinite Fun Fun 21 Blackjack from Evolution

Infinite Fun Fun 21 Blackjack from Evolution is another addition to their Infinite family of ‘1-to-many’ live blackjack tables where a single deal caters to a theoretically unlimited number of players.

Deal aside, this is a table for players looking for live blackjack with a difference. Actually, there are quite a few differences.

Key among them – if you and the dealer both have 21 you win rather than the hand pushing. This includes Blackjack hands! Further, there are a bunch of designated player hand card combinations totalling 21 that pay greater than even money. Triple suited 7s for example wins you a 4:1 payout.

The differences don’t end there.

You can play Infinite Fun Fun 21 Blackjack at most casinos carrying Evolution’s live games, including:

How to play Infinite Fun Fun 21 Blackjack

You can play the main game only (advised) or the main game and any of the 4 optional side bets which are expanded on below.

The main game is based on blackjack. You’re trying to beat the dealer to 21 and you’re given all the regular Hit, Stand, Double Down and Split options through the course of the deal. As a 1-to-many deal format, your hand will reflect your play decisions.

As with all Evolution blackjack tables, you also get offered house calculated cash outs at each stage of the deal.

Main Game house rules summary

Fun Fun 21 comes with a quite a few rule departures on the main game from Evolution’s regular blackjack tables. These are  highlighted above.

No 10s
The first difference – all 10s have been removed from the shoe. All pictures valued at 10 remain.

Dealer checking for blackjack
Next, the dealer checks for Blackjack not only for an Ace up card (as is conventional), but also for Jack, Queen and King up cards. While this rule is clearly stated in the game’s house rules, it was not observed during multiple sessions we played. Checking only occurred for Aces.

Double any time
On regular blackjack tables Double Down is offered on the initial 2 cards (or initial 2 cards to Split hands), and not after a hand is Hit. Playing Fun Fun 21 you have the option to Double Down any time, irrespective of how many cards you’ve already drawn.

Auto-stand Hard 17
You will then notice that you don’t get to Hit hard 17 or above unless there’s a possibility of winning with a Bonus 21. Quite often you’ll receive the notification: Auto-Decision: Stand.

21 Tie is a player win
Another new rule, and a welcome one at that, is the fact that a Tie on 21 is a player win rather than a push. This includes Blackjack, giving rise to the unusual scenario of being able to win when the dealer has Blackjack!

Bonus payouts
The big change Fun Fun 21 brings to the main game is the extra payouts – Bonus 21 and Super Bonus 21. For certain card combinations in a winning player hand, you receive better than the regular even money payout. These are not side bets, they are boosted payouts on the main game. What’s more, there is no house fee charged on your main game bet to fund these upsized payouts.

Bonus 21 payouts

Bonus 21 pays better than even money for certain player hand combinations, as shown below.

Outcome Payout
Five-card-hand 21 2:1
Six-card-hand 21 3:1
Seven-card-hand 21 4:1
6-7-8 mixed suit 2:1
6-7-8 suited 3:1
6-7-8 Spades 4:1
7-7-7 mixed suit 3:1
7-7-7 suited 4:1
7-7-7 Spades 5:1

The bonus 21 payout will apply to Split hands, but not hands that are Doubled Down.

Super Bonus 21 payout

In the event that you draw triple 7s and the dealer up card is a 7, you win the Super Bonus 21 payout of 50:1. If you Split or Double Down you cannot win the Super Bonus 21 payout.

Fun Fun 21 Bonus21chance

When you have a shot a Bonus 21 or Super Bonus 21 hand, an indicator pops up to remind you. In the above case, there’s a chance at a 6-7-8 Bonus 21 that would pay 2:1 rather than even money.

It’s worth noting that this changes your basic strategy play.

Playing regular blackjack you’d Stand hard 15 against dealer 5. In the above situation, with a 2:1 payout in the offing the basic strategy play is to Hit.

Infinite Fun Fun 21 Blackjack Basic Strategy Chart

Other obvious instances where basic strategy in this game departs from Evolution’s regular blackjack tables is where you’ve drawn a pair of 7s against the dealer’s 2 or 3. Regular basic strategy has you Splitting your 7s in both cases. In this game you Hit against dealer’s 2. You also Hit a suited 7 pair against a dealer’s 3.

With the addition of Bonus 21 and Super Bonus 21 payouts, the basic strategy play on this table differs from Evolution’s regular live blackjack tables. Rather thoughtfully, they’ve provided us with the Infinite Fun Fun 21 Blackjack Basis Strategy Chart.
