Unclefester, from a regulatory point of view, Italy's AAMS would have rules on Italian resident access to online gambling products but they would not care or have any say on what product/service the operators provide to players outside Italy, which is what what we're talking about. I don't think this is a (Italian) regulator imposed restriction. I think it's a platform/operator policy decision. Hopefully your response from William Hill or bet365 sheds more light!
