    Bwin.Party pays big to enter Spain

    In order to get their Spanish online gambling license Bwin.Party have had to pay back taxes on gaming revenues from Spanish players during pre-regulation times. The amount has been settled at €33.6 million. They must see muchos potential in this market to be willing to take this hit!

    Betfair have also announced they're expecting to be awarded Spanish Igaming license...wonder if they'll be asked to cough up as well?

    News just in...888 also want a Spanish license and expect to pay a tax settlement of less than $10 million

    Betfair say theirs will be around €10 million
