    Thumbs up Euro 2012

Did anybody see the games for the "Group of Death" today? Denmark came up with the surprise win and Germany took Portugal down, it going to be interesting to see what happens in the next fixture.

Spain vs Italy tomorrow, thats going to be fun to watch!

Love a big upset...well done Denmark.

I guess we get to see later today just how good the Liverpool squad is!

The bookies have France as firm favourites

Yeah that's a lot of Liverpool players, I had no idea there was 6 total in the squad. Thanks for the info! They still couldn't get passed the French, it was a great game!

Anybody see 36 year old Schevchenko have a double against Sweden, I didn't even know he was still playing!

More action off the pitch than on it for Poland V Russia.

Is is possible to have a big soccer tournament without a riot?

I agree you should be worried, for a few reasons...

    1. The jinx...England haven't beaten Sweden in a World/Euro match in their 7 last attempts
    2. England's big tournament history...not a matter of if you stand on a banana skin...more when.
    3. Gerrard has added a double jinx telling the media:

"I would think the same level of performance against France will be good enough to beat Sweden."
...I would say so with all due respect to Sweden who are a good, strong team, but they are not France."

Think positive...you'll smash Ukraine and finish top of group D and won't have to play Spain in the QFs. Could happen

(by the way, UEFA's tournament map is a rippa....http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/season=...dar/index.html )

Re Kristiana, I remember her once telling me that she loved football. Notwithstanding team choice I remember thinking this girl ticks a lot of boxes!

Germany sends Greece tumbling out of the Euros
Football news not economics/finance news, (although could be the latter in a few months time) .

Pretty emphatic win for Germany...now tournament favorites with all the bookies
