    Scandal over at Bodog Asia

In case you thought Runner Runner (that new Affleck/Timberlake movie about online gambling) was a case of Hollywood over dramatization, check this developing story over at Bodog Asia.

It's being reported as it unfolds over at the CalvinAyre.com (who aren't pulling any punches on the accusations!)

A few ex Bodog employees (including former Bodog Asia CEO Robert Gustafsson) are under criminal investigation for (among other things) embezzling from the business.

The trio of Gustafsson, Sylvia De Guzman and Sherwin Quiambao, along with their cronies are being investigated for a litany of crimes ranging from estafa (swindling), fraud, extortion, embezzlement, forging documents....
    the list goes on

Some other interesting accusations thrown in as well...

[Gustafsson & former Bodog Europe CEO Patrik Selin] have a gluttonous appetite for the red light districts of Asia, which we here at CalvinAyre.com would normally consider a good thing
No doubt the Bodog PR machine (of which CalvinAyre.com is a part) will go into overdrive to try satisfy the market that their operation (in particular Bodog88) going forward isn't damaged.

....overall their actions haven’t caused any operational trouble. It was not actually even noticed but we feel we need to prosecute as aggressively as we can as a matter of principle

Get the feeling there's plenty more to come with this one!

Where is Calvin Ayre? and What will happen to Bodog now?
Any information about this guy? Where is he hiding now? How many of his offices has closed down? Heard that Bodog offers 20% Bonus, as their black Friday promo? I though their tight on budget now, or they will use all the money they will get out of this promo to save their company?

Recent reports about the raid of Bodog offices in the Philippines have been hounding the online
gaming forum with fears of not getting their gaming funds back after the police closed down a
large part of their operations in various locations. Some players have expressed concern regarding
the delay in claiming their payouts.“I have had problems with my payouts from Bovada now
for a long time,” complained one of the gamers. Another online gambling enthusiast is worried
if he could ever get his winnings.“They told me that the office is closed and they can’t
do payouts.” These fears have escalated as Bovada has been reported of moving its operations
to Manila. With the customer service and other functions now based offshore, even more doubts
have been raised not only in payouts but also in making deposits and bets.

    Hi VanGolds

I cashed out with them last week (Bodog88, not Bovada) and received prompt payment, as per usual.

You have made quite a few negative posts about Bodog, which is totally fine, but leads me to believe there's more to your relationship with them than simply a player, or impartial observer.

Are you willing to declare your hand
