Today was just not my day

Not for roulette anyway.

Started with $300+ in the bank and this simple $5 corner bet...

No early joy and kept repeating the bet. Got a little distracted by another player who was regularly collecting (not sure how much he outlaying each spin though)

Before I know it I'm about 10 bets in, still no win, and therefore about $50 in the hole.

Figure it's time to pack it in. Then get that ridiculous thought...what if I stop and see the next spin lands on 29, 30, 32 or 33? How much would that suck!

Of course I could just stop and close the game window so I don't see the next result ...but that would be too sensible.

I plow on determined to get a payout from my cursed corner bet.

At around $100 down (still no win) I say enough's enough! No more. I stop betting

I'm back baby!

Thought I have another crack at my 29,30,32,33 corner bet this morning (stubbornness is one of my many failings!)

Opened up the roulette table and noticed the last 2 results were 33!

Doh!

Missed opportunity right there...shouldn't have waited to finish my coffee before logging on! Was this a bad omen? Probably but pushed on regardless.

Here's what happened...

So I came in after the two 33's (top is most recent result)

Was betting $10 on my corner so...

1. dropped $10 on 10
2. collected $80 on 30
3. collected $80 on 30
4. missed on 33 (should've collected another $80 but didn't get my bet down because was too slow taking a screen shot )
5. dropped $10 on 28
6. collected $80 on 30
7. collected $80 on 32

Just under 10 minutes...$300 up. Screen grabs of a couple of the wins below....
