New Jersey legislature OKs online gambling

New Jersey online gamblingLooks like licensed intrastate online gambling in New Jersey is a go!

Today the NJ State Assembly voted 63-11 in favor of a bill that will allow Atlantic City casinos to offer New Jersey residents casino games playable online.

Games that the casinos may offer are:

poker, roulette, baccarat, blackjack, craps, big six wheel, slot machines, minibaccarat (sic), red dog, pai gow, and sic bo; any variations or composites of such games, provided that such variations or composites, and any above listed game or variation or composite of such game to be offered through Internet wagering.”

The only thing required now before the bill becomes law is Governor Chris Christie’s signature.

Bet the boys at Vuetec will be pretty keen to have a chat to management at Borgata, Tropicana, Taj Mahal etc about getting some of their Distance Gaming  technology on the casino floor!

Unfortunately unless you live in NJ you won’t be allowed to play the games though.
