There are a few Euro 2012 promos going around. This one is a cracker...not just for the cash on offer, but also because it's well thought out and rewards a combination of football knowledge and live casino turnover.

It's comes to you courtesy of Paddy Power and it works like this:
  1. When you opt-in to the promo you'll be asked to choose a group...Group A, Group B, Group C, or Group D. You will join other live casino players in that group, and it will also correspond to the Euro 2012 Grouping.
  2. Every £/€1 wagered = 10 points. During the group stage, wagers from all players with a given group combine to compete against other groups. Also, every goal scored in the corresponding Euro 2012 Group earns 50,000 points.
    Eg, you join Group A.
    - You and other Group A players wager a combined €100,000: Group A gets 1,000,000 points
    - There are 6 goals kicked by Group A teams in Euro group stage: Group A gets 300,000 points
    - Group A total is 1,300,000 points. This is matched against the other 3 groups
  3. All players in the group with the highest point score share £/€8,000
  4. Players from the winning group then advance to tournament knockout stage where they compete for a further £/€12,000
Lots to think about here. You want to pick a group that'll give you plenty of goals...The obvious choice will likely attract the largest number of players which will help with wager points also...but the flip side is this will mean a small share of the £/€8,000 prize and many competitors in the knockout stage.
