Betfair saying goodbye to Slovenian players

Betfair have announce they will be saying goodbye to players from Slovenia.

Citing regulatory developments as the reason, all their internet betting products, live dealers included, will be closed to Slovenian customers from Friday 28 October.

A notification from Betfair advised:

“Slovenian customers should visit the Betfair website in advance and manage any open positions or withdraw any funds. After Friday 28th October customers can contact Customer Service to withdraw any funds outstanding.”

Slovenians reluctant to bid farewell to their favourite live dealers can still find them at other Playtech powered live casinos, all of whom seem to have slightly different regulatory concerns.

There is also the option of trying another platform altogether.
