Macau – another month, another $2 billion plus

Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau has released it’s November gaming figures, revealing another $2 billion revenue month for Macau.

Macau casinos took MOP17.35 billion ($US2.2 billion) for November, 45% up on the same month last year and not far of October’s record breaking MOP18.87 billion.  Analysts expected the number to come in well short of $2 billion, coming off a record breaking month that included 5 weekends (to November’s 4) as well as the week long Chinese National Day holiday.

It seems there’s no end in sight to Asia’s casino gaming boom.
