Paddy Power live roulette in App Store

Paddy Power became the latest casino to slip a live casino App into the UK App Store.

The Paddy Power Live Casino App was launched couple of days ago so if you’re in the UK and have an iPad (or any tablet for that matter) you can now play with real dealers at Paddy’s sans PC/laptop.

Presently live roulette is the only game offered…blackjack and baccarat are on their way according to the App’s description.

If you’re a regular at Paddy Power’s regular PC live casino (powered by Evolution Gaming), you’ll get a little surprise when you open either of the 2 tables offered on their App. You’ll see some new faces at the tables, and very different looking tables (and surrounds) to what you would be familiar with. This is Playtech’s (Euro) studio, Playtech’s lovely live dealers, and of course Playtech’s iPad live roulette game.

Game rules and payouts are identical to Playtech’s PC live roulette (actually the same tables you play via PC – Aphrodite & Vesta), and indeed the same bets, odds and payouts offered on Evolution Gaming’s version of European Roulette.

 

It is curious that Paddy’s chose to go the Playtech option here, rather than use Evolution Gaming’s iPad live games which arguably have a little more to offer presently both in terms of game (roulette and blackjack) and table range.

The upside for Paddy’s customers is that they now have more table & dealer variety.
