Not a new game as such, but a new roulette table from Evolution, with the potential to win up to 500x on straight up bets.

ID:	5545......each round 1 to 5 (lightning) numbers are selected at random to pay 50x-500x (also random).

If you placed a straight up bet on a lightning number and it comes up you win at the increased payout figure.

Then its time for the lightning round - the random numbers are selected and increased payouts assigned to them.

In this round 3 lightning numbers were generated & if the ball lands on 27 the payout is (the max possible value) 500x for straight up bets.

Regular......except you don't win as much on standard roulette, only 29:1 on the Lightning table.

only 29:1 on the Lightning table
Ahh ... but since the lightning round numbers are selected AFTER you place your straight up bets, you have to take the low paying straight up to be in the shot to have a lightning number right?

So that's how they hook you into the 29:1 paying bet

Finally got around to recording some Lightning Roulette action...

Have to say, I'm not normally one for the flashy, game of chance type games but this one did hook me a bit. If you manage to pick a lightning round number you do watch the spin quite closely.

One thing I thought worth pointing out...

    Return to player rate
Is published in the rules (quite cheekily) as being exactly the same as European Roulette (97.30%), however this RTP applies to all bets OTHER THAN the straight up bets, which of course are the bets which distinguish this game from regular roulette.
