Kristina – Our live dealer of the week

If there’s a pattern to my live casino play it goes something like this:

• despite persistent losses in the past, have another go playing  roulette;
• lose again…dohh!
• play blackjack or baccarat;
• recover those losses, or part thereof.

Being a quick learner, it’s only taken me 4 years or so to work out that perhaps skipping roulette and going straight to blackjack or baccarat might be a good idea.

The theory was pretty sound. Problem is gambling outcomes rarely stick to theory (in the short term at least). And so it was on this occasion where I lost my opening 5 blackjack hands as well as the majority of others played during a horrible half hour or so on one of the private tables at BetVictor.

At this point an old problem gambling campaign slogan came to mind, “If it’s no longer fun…walk away”. This probably needs to be changed to “If it’s no longer fun…walk away, and leave your iPad Mini behind”, but that’s another story.

Rather than waking away, and against my better judgement I figured I’d try a couple of get out of jail spins on the roulette wheel. Kristina was looking after proceedings.
