Welcome to the Pragmatic Play Gold Lounge.

To be more specific, it’s the Betsson Group (powered by Pragmatic Play) Gold Lounge. A new dedicated table area for Betsson Group casinos, shared by Betsson and other group brands that carry live casino games (eg Betsafe, NordicBet, Casinoeuro). Because the tables are shared there is no casino specific branding.

Contained within the Gold Lounge are 9 new tables, 8 blackjack and 1 roulette as follows:

• Gold Roulette (single zero European Roulette, pictured above)
• Gold Blackjack 1, 2, 3 & 4
• Gold VIP Blackjack 1 & 2
• Gold Speed Blackjack 1 & 2

While you’d be forgiven for expecting an area named the Gold Lounge to come with high bet limits, this is actually not the case. A €0.2 bet gets you in the action on the Gold Roulette table, while the Gold Blackjack tables have seat minimums of only €5.

The Gold VIP Blackjack tables offer plenty of wiggle room for the high rollers out there with seat maximums up to €10,000.

The Speed Blackjack tables also come with €5 minimums.

In case you haven’t experienced Speed Blackjack, its only difference from a classic 7 seat table is the order in which players receive Hit/Split/Double cards. Rather than right to left (or dealer’s left to right), players on the Speed Blackjack receive their cards in order of first to decide.

All other rules are as per the classic 7 seat tables. The return to player rate for optimal play is likewise the same.

The altered deal order speeds up deal rounds considerably when tables are full, as total wait time is compressed somewhat. It didn’t make any difference in the above round.

The Gold Lounge is housed in Pragmatic’s Bucharest, Romania flagship studio which must have some serious floor space. Blackjack alone accounts for more than 100 tables!
