Betway signs major sponsorship deal with West Ham United

English Premier League team West Ham United have just announced they have a new major sponsor  – Betway.

This continues the tradition of EPL team / betting site  sponsorships, that doesn’t seem to have been effected too much by the UK’s new online gambling laws.

The deal will see the Betway logo on all team team jerseys and training apparel starting from today’s match against Manchester United. Additionally, Boleyn Ground’s West Stand will become the Betway Stand.

The value and duration of the new deal have not been disclosed, But it’s a biggie, described by a West Ham spokesperson as, “our biggest-ever commercial deal“.

It’s been a pretty busy few months for Betway off the football pitch and inside their live casino as well.

They added a private blackjack table in December last year (a Microgaming first) and just last month live hold’em poker (also new from Microgaming).
