Private table live blackjack
Quick visual quiz.
Take a good look at the below two live blackjack game screen-shots. Both were played at Unibet
Game A…
Game B…
Other than the fact that one of the dealers looks like she’s just broken a heel on her shoe (sorry Karina), can you spot the major difference? Here’s a hint. Compare the actual felt top branding of the two tables.
One’s plain while the other bears the Unibet logo.
Regular versus Private or Dedicated tables
The table without the Unibet logo is one of Evolution Gaming’s regular blackjack tables, accessible by all players playing at any of the online casinos that use their platform. The players sitting at this table may be registered at Unibet, Ladbrokes, 888, Victor Chandler, Party Casino, etc.
The table with the Unibet logo is a private table. Unibet have paid a bit extra to a dedicated table within Evolution’s growing studio. Caramba555, vamhana, dow san and TinaAspman are all registered Unibet players.
A growing number of Evolution Gaming’s licensee casinos seem to be adopting private tables as it gives them greater branding exposure as well as more flexibility in being able to tailor promotional activities around their dedicated table and dealers. Ladbrokes’ world cup prize draw promotions are a good example of this.
So they have clear advantages for the casinos, but what about the players?
More seats, faster games
As I see it the major plus is seat availability. At peak times regular blackjack tables can get pretty full while private tables will often have plenty of spare seats. The above games are a good illustration of this point. Played at the same time both are $10-$2,000 tables and the regular table has no spare seats while the private table has 3 seats spare.
The Ladbrokes table below is another typically empty private table.
Private tables also give operators scope to cater for VIP players and ensure a tailored gaming experience, which is a positive for these players.
Which casinos have private tables?
This list is an expanding one but presently includes Unibet, Ladbrokes and Party Casino
