Pragmatic Plays live baccarat tables
New entrants Pragmatic Play have now rounded out their game range with some live baccarat tables.
They now have the ‘big three’ live games covered: Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat. A poker variation can’t be too far off.
First impressions after playing Pragmatic’s live roulette and blackjack at Leo Vegas last month were something like: nice looking tables; nice looking studio; nice UI. But it all felt a bit familiar. A bit like something Evolution Gaming would come up with in one of their new studios.
Well, if you thought their roulette and blackjack tables were a little Evolution-esc, then cop a look at their baccarat efforts.

Table shape. check. Table colour. check. Curtains. check. Tables behind curtains in background. check. Dealers in red. check.
The team at Pragmatic would have a hard time arguing they didn’t take their design cues from Evolution.
But hey, they say imitation is flattery.
Looks aside, the game is simple Punto Banco baccarat, with standard payouts applying on the main game (Banker 0.05:1, Player 1:1, Tie 8:1). Side bets are also offered – Pairs and Big/Small.
Pragmatic have boldly departed from the Evolution blueprint by going with a slightly unconventional deal (on some tables). The deal begins with 6 cards (Banker and Player cards, plus both 3rd cards) drawn face down before being revealed. Any ‘third’ cards not used in the round become part of the next round.
Outcomes are identical to a conventional deal, which if you prefer, is also offered on some tables as shown below.
Video and audio quality on these tables is excellent. They’ve also nailed the mobile version of all their tables, baccarat included.
The Pragmatic game lobby make it vey easy to jump from one table to the next.
Definitely worth a look if baccarat is you game.

Good job from Pragmatic all round. That “unconventional” deal is the same as Playtech’s Golden Baccaarat ( https://www.livedealer.org/forums/showthread.php?5323-Golden-baccarat) ….so taking cues from multiple platforms.
