Dedicated tables now live in regulated Netherlands market at Jacks

To say authorities in the Netherlands have taken a slow and cautious approach to regulating and opening their online gambling market would be an understatement. Here is a short update on the Netherlands saga written earlier in the year.

But finally, it’s all systems go!

Regulators gave the green light for locally licensed operators to start taking bets online on 1st October. Those already awarded licenses are:

The list is heavily skewed to locally grown companies, among them is JOI with their site Jacks.nl.

Jacks went live with it’s Evolution powered live casino on November 25, and last week they unveiled a localised dedicated live casino environment (also Evolution powered). The new tables come with Dutch speaking dealers and Jack’s Casino & Sports branding – a first for any online casino operating under the new Netherlands’ i-gaming regulations.

Dedicated live casino areas from Evolution aren’t big news. There are plenty of them out there now with launches every other month. Indeed the same week the Jack’s tables went live, Evolution unveiled dedicated tables for the Austrian lottery’s online casino website Win2Day casino.

But given how long Dutch players have had to wait, the Jacks tables are something to crow about.
