How to take $1.5 million from the Bellagio
A hot streak on the high-stakes baccarat table in Club Privé?
A few MIT maths geniuses and a carefully formulated team card counting strategy on the blackjack tables perhaps?
Or maybe for the real risk takers amongst you there’s the old roulette one-bet strategy…bet it all on black!
Of course the other approach, more mathematically sound but still inherently risky, is that taken by some dude who robbed a craps table at the Bellagio wearing a motorcycle helmet.
He’s still at large and no doubt working on part 2 of his brilliant plan…how to cash $1.5 million in high denomination Bellagio casino chips.
The brazen heist certainly makes a mockery of the big casinos’ famed impenetrable security measures.
According to Ocean’s 11, cracking the Bellagio requires 11 criminal geniuses, a life size vault replica, numerous ‘inside’ helpers, a pinch stolen from a University with enough electromagnetic force to wipe out the entire Las Vegas power grid, the ability to imitate an entire S.W.A.T. team and a list of gadgets that would make 007 envious.
Not so. We now know all you need is:
- a motorcycle helmet;
- a pistol (replica will do);
- the ability to run a 100m in 20s or less.
