MGM Live – Play live games from the floor of MGM Grand in Las Vegas

In a joint press release issued today, Playtech and MGM Resorts announced the the expansion of their ‘Live from Vegas’ offering with the addition of a new live game show, Family Feud.

They also announced that the full suite of games contained within the MGM Live studio was now available to licensee casinos and their players in regulated markets outside the United States. With the MGM Live product being rolled out across a growing number of online casinos, players outside the US are now able to play live tables situated on the floor of the Vegas’ MGM Grand and Bellagio.

What’s MGM Live?

MGM Live is a collaboration between Playtech and MGM Resorts International following a deal struck in June 2024.

Playtech bring the live game capture, streaming and delivery expertise while MGM contribute studio space on the floors of their legendary Las Vegas casinos. The first studio to be up and running is neatly housed inside the MGM Grand (pictured above). A second studio contained within the Bellagio Resort & Casino is streaming a smaller range of tables.

Right now, MGM Live games can be played online at a handful of online casinos. Owing to the strict oversight and regulatory requirements of the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), the MGM Live games are only available to players in unambiguously regulated markets. Casinos offering the games are well known brands operating only in regulated markets.

Where can you play MGM Live games?

Leo Vegas, which is actually owned by MGM Resorts International is the obvious option. As well as offering the full suite of MGM Live games, MGM have squeezed an exclusive Leo Vegas table into one of the studios. Leo will likely be the first casino to offer new games from the Bellagio studio as it starts expanding.

Other casinos that offer MGM Live games currently are BetFred and Bwin. Both have quite narrow accepted Geo’s, but do accept (for example) players from the UK.

What games does MGM Live offer?

MGM live offers a pretty comprehensive suite of games, covering off the ‘big 3’ plus a few extras. There’s:

• live roulette (European and American tables),
• live blackjack (a few classic 7 seat tables plus ‘1-to-many deal‘ AllBets Blackjack table),
• live baccarat (choice of tables)
• live game shows (just launched Family Feud Live, plus mainstays Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, Mega Fire Blaze Blackjack)
