Maija – Our live dealer of the week

This is Maija. She’s one of the ever-growing dealer team working in Playtech’s Latvian dealer studio. Lucky for me she happened to be the first smiling face that greeted me after logging on and launching a game of live blackjack at William Hill.

I say lucky for a number of reasons.

First, her table-side manner was really very pleasant. Second, she had a wonderful knack for consistently dealing herself up-cards in the range 3 to 6, and then going on to bust… which segways very nicely into the third reason.  In case you hadn’t guessed, I’m referring to another kind of bust here.

She had the dealer of the week award stitched up 5 minutes into the session. When she replied to my ‘Bye‘,  with ‘Goodbye  Monday, thankyou for playing with me,’ she put herself in contention for dealer of the year!
