What are the most played live dealer games on the Internet in 2024

Here’s a snapshot of the most popular live dealer games on the Internet as we head in to 2024.

And it is literally a snapshot – current active player numbers, as displayed by the 3 biggest live games providers, at a moment in time. That moment being a little earlier today.

Obviously these numbers fluctuate a lot from day to day. Even minute to minute. But it’s fair to say the numbers are reasonably consistent with trend. As an example, the busiest game (by far) from the below snapshot was (by far) the busiest (by far) when we did this exercise in 2022. It’s consistently the busiest whenever we log in and play.

The same games to tend to regularly sit top of the charts in terms of player numbers.

The most popular live game

Crazy Time often has over 10,000 players at any given time. This time was no different. It remains the undisputed players’ champion of live dealer gaming. Who knew so many punters like placing their financial fate in the hands of a (low returning) big wheel?

There are other big money wheels attracting big player numbers too.

Evolution’s busiest live games

Crazy Time continues to dominate. Their other big wheels, notably Monopoly Live and Funky Time (still newish) are also very popular. Lightning Roulette used to be a clear number 2 with up to 5,000 players at busier times. Perhaps its cousin XXXtreme Lightning Roulette has stolen a few of these regulars.

Playtech’s busiest live games

Adventures in Wonderland tops the charts in the Playtech live lobby. Interestingly, their number 2 was not a game show, but rather a regular roulette game – Roleta Brasileira.

Pragmatic Play’s busiest live games

Pragmatic’s biggest games are also their big wheels. Big player numbers too for a provider that is by far the youngest of the three.

Most popular live tables (traditional casino games)

On a per table basis, traditional casino games attract fewer players than the game shows. In aggregate terms (ie across all tables) they are very popular though.

For example, Evolution’s busiest baccarat table was Speed Baccarat A, with just over 1,000 players. But considering they have over 50 live baccarat tables, the total number of baccarat players at certain times would rival Crazy Time numbers.  The same may be true across all live roulette tables.

For perspective, of around 45,000 players across all Evolution games, the split by game type was as follows:

  • approximately 22,000 playing game shows (half of these on Crazy Time!)
  • approximately 7,500 playing live baccarat tables
  • around 7,000 playing the live roulette tables
  • around 5,000 playing (or betting behind) on live blackjack tables
  • around 500 playing live poker tables (excluding roulette and baccarat based game shows).
  • remaining 3,000 spread across various other, Sic Bo, Dragon Tiger, Bac Bo, Craps etc

Evolution’s busy traditional game tables

Evolution’s live Bac Bo table was hosting more players than any single baccarat or roulette table at this time. The busiest baccarat tables at any given time may have a lot to do with the state of that table’s roadmap, given players do like hunting hot roads.

Pragmatic’s busy traditional game tables

Pragmatic’s Azure Roulette table is often popular.

Playtech’s busy traditional game tables

Aside from Roleta Brasileira, no other traditional Playtech table had more than 100 players.
