Super Card Blackjack Live from Playtech
Super Card Blackjack was launched by Playtech in July 2025. It’s a 1-to-many deal blackjack table that comes with 7 optional side bets in addition to the main blackjack game.
The namesake Super Card side bet is the one that gets most of the attention. But to place a bet on it or any of the other side bets you must have an ante bet on the main game so lets touch on it briefly first.
Super Card Blackjack main game rules
The house rules on the main game are the same as Playtech’s classic 7 seat blackjack tables, summarised below. Played optimally you’ll enjoy a healthy 99.46% return to player (RTP) rate.
- Dealt from an 8 deck shoe, re-shuffled mid-shoe.
- Dealer stand all 17s
- You can double after split
- You can double any 2 cards
- You can’t hit split Aces
- Insurance is offered
- You can’t re-split
- 10 Card Charlie applies
The Super Card side bet
Take the Super Card side bet and you are betting that the dealer’s up-card matches the randomly selected Super Card. You must have a bet on the main game to take this side bet. It pays irrespective of the outcome of the main game.
The RTP on this bet is 96.30%. Sticking to the main game is really your best bet on this table.
After bets close the Super Card is randomly selected form a virtual 52 card deck. In the example round below it’s 4♥.
Multiplier values are randomly assigned for:
- an exact (suited) match with the dealer (15×, 20×, 25×, 50×, 75× or 100×)
- an unsuited match with the dealer (5×, 6×, 7×, 8× or 10×)
Any match with the dealer’s up-card pays the assigned payout – 8x (or 7:1) in the example round.
Just don’t let this distract you from playing out the main game, for which you have decisions to make.
Winning payouts on the main game, Super Card side bet (and any other winning side bets) are tallied for your final payout.

Super Card Blackjack playing strategy
Sound playing strategy on this table is self-evident from the RTPs applying to all the side bets. Avoid them and play the main game only.
Which then begs the question – why play the table at all when you can play any other Playtech live blackjack table without all the side bet distractions? It’s a question we don’t have an answer for unfortunately.
