Travel Fever from OnAir Entertainment
This rather busy looking setup is Travel Fever Live, OnAir Entertainment’s second live game show.
Their first game show (Nexus Roulette) was a real winner. Original and engaging. Travel Fever we’re not so sure about. But hey, we weren’t sure about Crazy Time so the kiss of death from Livedealer.org is practically a guarantee of a game show’s future success.
What is Travel Fever
At the centre of Travel Fever is a big horizontal money wheel comprised of an inner section divided into 6 segments and and outer section divided into 54 segments.
The 6 inner segments are the continents of the world: Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Norther America, South America (Antarctica doesn’t get a guernsey). Pick the resulting continent for a 5:1 or 6x payout on your bet.
The 54 outer segments are populated with either one of the 6 bonus games offered, or ‘multipliers’ of 1x or 9x that change the default 5:1 continent payout.
Your bet options at the outset of the round are:
- betting on a continent, for a 6x (or 1x or 9x payout), and/or
- betting on a bonus game, to win participation in that game and a resulting payout, and/or
- betting Continent Collect, which is a bet that all 6 continents will result from the next 6 spins. (ie no repeats).
Each spin will yield a result from both the inner and outer wheels. The below example sees a:
- Europe win paying 5:1 on the inner wheel, and
- a bonus game has been triggered on the outer wheel.

Simple enough to this point. And if you’re sticking to continent bets like this collect on Europe, it is.

The problem is those pesky bonus games – all six of them, which collectively populate 42 of the 54 outer segments. This means almost every spin results in one of the bonus games having to be played.
They’re all played on rather cheap looking, cobbled together devices. Below is the (hand spun) compass on Lucky Hike.

They’re not exactly exiting to play.

And some of them, like the Happy Race shown below, tend to drag on (pardon the pun) for way longer than they should.
If you’re not in the game, the viewing isn’t exactly riveting.

When each of the bonus games do conclude, they arrive at a bet multiplier. Top possible multiplier is 2000x on Golden Spin. Payouts for all bets, and return to player rates are below.

| Extra chance | Up to 60x | 96.61% |
| Checkpoint | Up to 100x | 96.82% |
| Cash out | Up to 420x | 97.83% |
*If the winning continent segment is a 1x or 9x multiplier, this replaces the 5:1 payout
To be fair, for a game of this type the RTP rates aren’t horrible. Continent Collect and the Happy Race Cash Out feature are near or above what you’ll get playing European Roulette.
