Enormous dealer studio under construction

In anticipation of tens of millions of future players, Evolution Gaming have lifted the lid on the site of their new dealer studio presently under construction.

The sheer scale of the project is mind boggling…

  • there is enough electrical wiring to reach the moon;
  • there is enough concrete to build 2 Empire State Buildings;
  • more cameras will be installed than are currently owned by America’s CBS, NBC and ABC television corporations;
  • more reinforced steel has been used than was needed to construct China’s Three Gorges Dam;
  • 6 hectares of rain forest had to be cleared to provide enough timber to build the dealers’ tables; and
  • Fashion houses Dior, Armani, Versace, Donna Karen, Jean Paul Gaultier and YSL Atelier have all been simultaneously engaged to produce enough little black dresses and little gold dresses to clothe over 20,000 newly hired Latvian dealers.

Just in case you didn’t already guess, not one of the above statements have an ounce of truth to it.  And the picture is of Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands project (thanks to madaboutasia) and not Evolution’s new studio.  But if a dealer studio of this magnitude is ever going to be built, our money’s on Evolution Gaming to be the outfit to do it.

Last week they announced they have signed another member of online gambling’s “3 million+ customers club” to use their product.

Sportingbet.com are now on board the EG locomotive and bring with them another 3.9 million players.  Other recent adopters, all with more than 3 million registered customers include Ladbrokes, PaddyPower, PartyGaming, 888.com, and Unibet.  Then there are the likes of Expekt (1.5 m), Bet-at-Home.com (1.5m), Rank Group (1m), GalaCoral (0.9m), and Victor Chandler (0.5m).

That’s somewhere in the vicinity of 25 million already-signed-up players with direct access to Evolution’s dealers at the mere click of a mouse.

They may not be building a studio the size of the Sentosa at Marina Bay Sands, but mark my words – they’re going to have to build something pretty big soon!
