Evolution showcases new live game lineup for 2022

Only days into the new year came Evolution’s first new live game launch for 2022 – Bac Bo.

According to their big new game roadmap presentation last week, there are plenty more on the way!

88 in fact. Big number! But that number applies to games across the entire group.

Evolution is far from the live games pure play they began life as. Today Evolution and its subsidiaries Ezugi, Netent, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming (BTG) and DigiWheel offer the full gamut of online casino games from live dealer to slots to RNG table games.

The diversity of their product offering is highlighted in CEO Martin Carleslund’s opening address, proclaiming the company’s goal as being the, “number 1 provider in online casino” (not just live casino anymore).

Also interesting is the concerted effort being made by Evolution to offer this diverse range of products to their casino clients as a single integration, with access to all products. One stop shop they call it.

So, the bulk of these 88 new games are in the slot and RNG category which don’t interest us too much.

But there are quite a few new live dealer games from Evolution and Ezugi. In the live dealer category, here’s what’s on the way.

New games coming from Ezugi

Before getting into the new games, a couple of quick facts about Ezugi.

  • Presently 25 stand alone live games
  • over 100 live dealer tables operating
  • streamed from 12 studios/casinos around the world
  • 16 jurisdictional licenses held

They have 6 new games promised to be released in the next 6 months.

Ultimate Sicbo

Ezugi Ultimate Sicbo

A new Sicbo table with you guessed it, random multipliers (up to 1000x).

Players just love these random multiplier games.  Evolution have their Lightning series. Playtech have Quantum. Ezugi have a few on the way, under the umbrella name Ultimate.

Ultimate Andar Bahar

Ezugi Ultimate Andar Bahar

Ezugi were the first provider to offer an Andar Bahar table. Ultimate Andar Bahar will come with random multipliers.

Ultimate Roulette

Circus themed roulette wheel with random multipliers.

It’s not just about multiplier games. In addition to the new Ultimate tables comes…

Easy Dealer Roulette

Ezugi Easy Dealer Roulette

OK this is a bit cheeky. Easy Dealer Roulette is technically not a live dealer game. You have pre recorded dealer/presenter video interspersed between roulette wheel action. Outcomes are RNG determined. There is nothing live about this.

We were introduced to this format some time ago by Real Dealer Studios. I guess if Ezugi are going down this path also, the concept has a following (not by this writer).

Video Blackjack

Ezugi Video Blackjack

Video Blackjack is the clear standout when it comes to originality. A really cool concept. Take a 7 seat blackjack table, with ‘standard’ rules and add one stipulation: to take a seat at the table, players must be willing to share live video of themselves.

If a live dealer game is measured by how well it can replicate a true, in-person casino gambling experience, then this table goes to the top of the pile. You have the real dealer. You have the real cards and physical outcomes. You now also have the real reactions of your fellow seated players.

Video Blackjack blazes a trail further down the path of replicating the real experience for sure.

Really look forward to experiencing this one!

Russian Poker

Ezugi Russian Poker

Not quite as exciting, unless you’re a fan of this poker version – Russian Poker.

New games coming from Evolution

Extreme lightning Roulette

Evo Extreme Lightning Roulette

Turns out Lightning Roulette is the most popular live game in the Evolution stable. Which could well make it the most popular live game full stop.

Looking to tap further into players’ desire for more volatility and bigger multipliers, comes Extreme Lightning Roulette, where players will be, ‘constantly peppered with 1000x’ multipliers.

Crazy Coin Flip

There just had to be more game shows right? Enter Crazy Coin Flip.

This is an RNG slot game, with a live dealer bonus round. The reverse of what we are used to seeing with game shows. When the bonus round is triggered, you are taken to the waiting presenter who conducts the crazy coin flip.

Super Andar Bahar

Evo Super Andar Bahar

The Indian market must really be kicking off, as Andar Bahar is becoming a must have table. Evolution’s version, Super Andar Bahar, comes with a big payout side bet (how many cards dealt until Andar Bahar).

Teen Patti

Another Indian favourite on its way.

Gold Bar Roulette

Evo Gold Bar Roulette

Gold Bar Roulette is described as coming with big multipliers, a stunningly rich studio and the, “first big innovation in roulette since Lightning Roulette”. Look forward to testing this claim.

Monopoly Big Baller

Mr Monopoly makes another appearance in Monopoly Big Baller. It’s a bingo game hosted by a live presenter and Mr Monopoly of course.

Other innovations

In addition to new games there were a couple of other innovations we can look forward to.

There will be a GO LIVE button on all of Evolution’s ‘First Person’ (RNG games). When pressed, players will be taken to the live version of the game (why they wouldn’t start there is a mystery to me).

A lobby update is also on the way. Nothing drastic that could lose players already familiar with the current setup. Rather a few additional features to try help navigate players towards their favourite games:

  • search function (eg, dice games?)
  • AI powered recommendation engine putting games put in front of players based on their playing history, and
  • the ability to favourite games

“Whoever offers best player experience in the future will win. It’s as simple and as hard as that.”

The above was a quote from the CEO. They’re certainly going to great lengths to offer this experience.
