Doubling down in blackjack

After being bent over by the Smiling Assassin yesterday I was keen to get the train back on the rails so went back to old faithful live blackjack for a session today.

I fired up a game at one of the Evolution Gaming casinos and hoped that yesterday’s bad luck would soon become a distant memory.

So how’d I go?

Well if you took the first 2 hands in isolation…splendidly – doubling down on both occasions and winning.

That’s where the streak of double-down wins ended unfortunately. But it was a winning session so (fingers crossed) the worm has turned.
