Microgaming’s new live blackjack

On hearing about the launch of Microgaming’s highly anticipated live dealer blackjack game we were keen to get out and road test it, complete with screenshots and video recordings to give you guys a good feel for how it stacks up against the competition.

It has a couple of fancy features that the folk at M’gaming have been bragging about…Bet Behind which lets you bet on an already seated a player’s game, and Waiting List that alerts you as soon as your favourite dealer has a free seat.  All sounds good, but how does the game actually play?

So off we went to our favorite Microgaming casinos to see if they had added it yet.  Not only did we find that they hadn’t yet added it, some of them have dropped live games altogether!  We’re sad to report that both 32Red and Platinum Play have until further notice dropped their real dealer games, while the Riverbelle and Lucky Nugget have pulled their games while fixing bugs related to a general upgrade.

Considering Ladbrokes, another very popular Microgaming powered (RNG games at least) casino, are out of the mix since going with CWC and now Evolution Gaming for their dealer games and all of a sudden good Microgaming options in this space are pretty thin on the ground.

We’ve been reliably informed by the guys at Fortune Lounge that despite dropping live dealers at Platinum Play, sister casino Royal Vegas will continue to offer them at least for the foreseeable future.  Another casino we’ve been looking at that seem to be pretty committed to Microgaming’s live platform and have a solid reputation to boot is Aussie based Canbet.

Stay tuned for pending game and new casino review!
