Dual Play Baccarat from The Vic Casino now live

We were told very early in the year that Evolution Gaming, in partnership with Grosvenor Casinos would launch their first Dual Play Baccarat table by the end of February.

Uncharacteristically behind schedule (albeit by a couple of days), Live Baccarat from Grosvenor’s Victoria Casino is now up and running…exclusive to Grosvenor Casino.

This table can be played by online players, as well as players physically seated at the table within the casino (hence the name Dual Play). It’s not the first Dual Play table from Evolution, but it is the first Dual Play Baccarat table…all the others being roulette tables (one of which is Grosvenor’s Victoria Casino roulette).

It’s been a while since we’ve seen an in-casino baccarat table. A few years back players could partake in baccarat action from within Dublin’s Fitwilliam Casino courtesy of Actual Gaming (formerly Vuetec). Unfortunately that live table is no longer offered. Fortunately for in-casino table fans…this one is, and it’s better.

Regular Punto Banco baccarat bets and payouts apply…with the exception of a boosted 9:1 Tie payout. Player (1:1) and Banker (0.95:1) payouts are as per usual.

There are also a bunch of pairs side bets (Banker, Player, Either, Perfect) that players can take, but probably shouldn’t if theoretical return to player rates are something you are conscious of.

A side bet that is not available to online players, but which can be placed by patrons inside the Vic, is the range of Egalite side bets. Perhaps they’ll be added virtually by Evolution down the track?
