Ezugi's live casino hold'em poker

Ezugi have been operating a Live Casino Hold’em poker table in their Bulgarian studio since 2016. It has received a look and feel upgrade recently, but the rules have remained the same.

The house rules are identical to those on the casino hold’em poker tables at Evolution Gaming and Playtech and the expected (and published) return to player rate is the same across all tables (97.84% for the Ante/Call bet and 93.74% for the Bonus bet).

Rule summary

For those who haven’t played live casino hold’em, it’s a house poker game (players versus the dealer). The aim is to get a better poker hand with your 2 pocket cards and the 5 community cards (dealt Flop, River, Turn) than the dealer (who also gets 2 pocket cards).

An Ante bet gets you in the game, 2 pocket cards and a look at the Flop. From here you can fold, forfeiting your Ante bet, or place a Call bet (2x Ante) to see the game out.

You win a payout (according to the below table) on your Ante bet and even money on your Call bet if you beat the dealer’s hand (using normal poker hand ranks) and the dealer’s hand qualifies (pair of 4s or better).

If the dealer’s hand doesn’t qualify, you only win your Ante bet payout, and Call bet is returned.

You lose both your Ante and Call bets if the dealer’s hand is better than the player’s.

There is also a Bonus bet in which you are simply betting on the quality of the player hand, with payouts as per the below pay table.
