Live Dealer Xóc Dĩa (or Ultimate Flip) from Ezugi

Thanks to Ezugi, the traditional coin gambling game of Xóc Dĩa can now be played live online. It’s up and running at a bunch of casinos carrying Ezugi’s live games, including Stelario, Windetta, Frumzi and Amunra.
What is Xóc Đĩa?
Xóc Đĩa is a traditional Vietnamese gambling game using four coins, each with one side painted white and the other yellow (or red/black). The coins are placed inside a small wooden bowl (đĩa) and covered with a lid. The dealer shakes the bowl vigorously, then slams it upside down onto a mat. Players bet on whether the revealed coins will show an even (Chẵn) or odd (Lẻ) number of white/yellow sides or various other combinations.
Xóc Đĩa is played widely in Vietnam during Lunar New Year (Tết Nguyên Đán) and local village festivals (đình đám). But as a legally sanctioned gambling game, it is only offered at a handful of integrated resorts in Vietnam including Phú Quốc (Corona Resort Casino), Hạ Long Bay (Royal International Gaming Club), and Hội An (Hoiana Resort & Casino).
Ezugi’s Live Xóc Dĩa (or Ultimate Flip)
Ezugi’s live version of Xóc Dĩa is sympathetic to the game’s origins, offering the traditional bets with no added on side-bets or multipliers. You’ll find it in their live lobby as either Xóc Dĩa or under the westernised title Ultimate Flip – clicking on either will launch the same table.
A simple bet area presents all possible bets with payouts clearly labelled.

All white or all red are the highest payout bets. They’re also the bets with the lowest theoretical return or RTP. Although the RTP difference across all bets is marginal.
| Bet | Payout | Return to Player (RTP) |
|---|---|---|
| All white | 14.5:1 | 96.88% |
| All red | 14.5:1 | 96.88% |
| 3 white | 2.9:1 | 97.50% |
| 3 red | 2.9:1 | 97.50% |
| 2 white | 1.6:1 | 97.50% |
| 2 red | 1.6:1 | 97.50% |
| Even (2 or 4 coins same colour) | 0.95:1 | 97.50% |

Playing Xóc Dĩa
Playing Ezugi’s Xóc Dĩa table couldn’t be simpler. A chip placed on your chosen bet(s) gets you in the game.

As betting time comes to a close, the dealer covers the plate containing the coins with the bowl and shakes it. After a short time the plate is placed on the table and the cover removed to reveal the outcome.

And whether you’ve won or lost the bet…
