Mega Roulette 3000 Live from Pragmatic Play

Mega roulette 3000 place bets

Pragmatic have added to their lineup of Mega multiplier games with the release of live dealer Mega Roulette 3000. It’s a dialled-up version of their long running Mega Roulette game, with more multiplier numbers each game round and a bigger max multiplier (3,000×) that may be applied to any of them.

The changed random multiplier profile adds more payout volatility, which you may or may not like. But Mega Roulette 3000 also comes with objective improvements over the original.

Mega Roulette 3000 is being offered at most casinos carrying Pragmatic’s live tables, including 888AmunraFrumzi or Leo Vegas.

How to play Mega Roulette 3000

You play this table as you would any live roulette game, placing your chips on the table or the racetrack for neighbours bets, with all the regular roulette bets available. At the heart of the game is a single zero roulette wheel. The ball launch is manual – one of the improvements over the original version which used a wheel with an auto ball launch.

Mega Lucky Numbers

Here’s where Mega Roulette 3000 differs from a regular game of live roulette. After bets close, up to 8 roulette numbers are chosen as Mega Lucky Numbers and to each a multiplier value is randomly assigned (50× up to 3,000×).

These multipliers become the new payout for any winning straight up bets on that number. Any other bet type covering a winning lucky number pays its regular payout.

Straight Up bet default payout reduced

The default payout for straight-up wins on Mega Roulette 3000 is set at 19:1. This is a significant reduction from the regular roulette straight up bet payout of 35:1.

The reduction serves to fund the multiplied payouts, while still preserving a house edge on straight up bets. But the house edge on these bets is reduced from regular roulette. As the table below shows, the return to player (RTP) on Mega Roulette 3000 straight up bets is 97.5%.

More volatility than the original Mega Roulette

Mega Roulette brings more payout volatility than the original Mega Roulette. The default straight up payout is less (19:1 v 29:1) while the possibility of bigger wins is increased. It should also be noted that the original version penalised players for betting straight up with a reduced RTP. Not so on Mega 3000.

Final thoughts on Mega Roulette 3000

There are no shortage of roulette based game shows, but those that offer an elevated return to regular roulette aren’t as common. More and bigger multipliers, more payout volatility, and elevated RTP make this game a big improvement on the original, and a great option for roulette fans. The switch to a manual ball launch is another nice touch.
